Tukuche Peak

Tukuche Peak Climbing is a magnificent peak situated in front of Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri I which is separated by the immense Kali Gandaki George. Tukuche Peak is to be found on the northern face of Nepal. Tukuche Peak (6,920m) Climbing is known as the valley with wilderness or the hidden valley. Kali Gandaki River makes its way on the underneath of this peak. Tukuche peak Climbing is another name for the scenic trekking and brilliant elevated quest demanding peak climbing into the heart of Himalayan. In 1969, Tukuche Peak was first ascended by the Swiss team.

Tukuche Peak Climbing starts with the attempt to Hden Valley Base Camp.The Summit of Tukuche Peak proffer spectacular mountain vista together with intact Nilgiri and Annapurna Range, the striking villages of Syang, Marpha and Jomsom. This peak climbing is free from the danger and technicality. The prospects of snow –white, an inimitable exploration together with climbing the permit are other attractions of this peak climbing. Because of its inaccessible geographic location and the earnestness of the terrain, Tukuche peak Climbing is infrequently visited by climbing groups and commercial trekking.

As Tukuche Peak is lies in the Dhaulagiri range, it does put forward some difficult Passes like French Pass, Italian Base Camp, Thaha Pass and so on. Even though this is the best peak climbing, the thing that should be done by the trekkers is to select appropriate trekking companies. The trekking type for this peak climbing would be camping and trekkers can setout during the September to October and from April to May.

Note: Kathmandu – Lukla - Kathmandu flight may be delayed by few hours or even cancelled due to bad weather condition. You should be prepared for such flight delays or cancellations. We will do our best to avoid such conditions. In case of flight cancellation, we will try to get you on the flight for the next day. Getting early flight for the next day may be not possible during the high season. We can arrange flight by helicopter as well with extra cost. If we have a group of 4- 5 people, we can charter helicopter for you to fly from Kathmandu - Lukla or vice versa. It will be advisable to have extra days in Kathmandu before and after the trekking. Great Himalayan Guide can arrange you cultural / adventure tours ( such as sightseeing tours, rafting, jungle safari, ) with extra cost if the extra days are not used for the flight conditions to Lukla and back. If the flight is delayed and cancelled for several days which could disturb your onward journey, you are free to choose trekking in Annapurna, Langtang and other regions.Great Himalayan Guide will arrange the alternative trek for you as soon as possible.
